Julieanne + Danny’s motorcycle engagement session was definitely a day of firsts, but first, let us tell you the deetz on their love story!
Danny started out at the University of South Carolina and connected with one of Julieanne’s longest hometown friends, Adam. She would go visit USC and Danny had his eyes set on her from the start.
He ended up transferring to Towson, where she was going, and their mutual friend Adam hooked them up for her and her friends to take Danny under their wing. They became best friends all throughout college, he even wrecked her first car and had to call her mom who he had never met at the time! It didn’t seem to stop Julieanne’s mom from loving him because she was constantly asking her “what about Danny?” while she was “wasting time dating losers.”
They both got into serious relationships, he moved to Raleigh for a few years and they lost touch. Fast forward to 2017 when he moved back, they both went through breakups and were “allowed” to be friends again. The rest is history… he proposed at her parent’s house in Florida on his 30th birthday in August of 2020.
When I asked them what they love most about each other, here’s what they had to say:
“We are just two best friends in love with each other. We love to travel, explore the world, meet new people, spend time with our families and make unforgettable memories.”
When Julieanne reached out to us, she made it very clear that she wanted the session to be relaxed and surrounded by activities that were true to them. When we heard this, we were happy dancing because that’s everything we ever want to hear from our couples! So, we made sure to keep the locations + props a reflection of their relationship.
After going back + forth on it, we decided to do the chunk of the session with their motorcycles since Julieanne comes from a family of bikers who love to tear up the Daytona Beach/Ormond Beach area whenever they’re in Florida with their Harley’s. We then would head to the pier, have some beers + get some golden hour photos.
Here’s some of our favorites from their motorcycle engagement session:
